This past week has been very hectic.
We went golfing last P day and It was super windy. It took 3 hours to play 9 holes, and I lost both balls my companion bought for me in water hazards due to the first 2 holes, so you can imagine the fun I had for 3 hours carrying around the clubs.
Halloween was super fun! It was rainy and cold so it felt like back at home! Nobody in Africa celebrates it though, so we were the only people here who carved jack o lanterns. We used kitchen knives to carve, so our artistic abilities were very limited.
We met some really cool people and taught some really good lessons. The only problem is that All of them discontinued the lessons. One kid we met named Mitchell was very promising and was even planning on coming with us to church. When we went to visit him again his father wanted to talk to us and told us we couldn't come anymore. It really put a damper on our spirits. The kid couldn't even choose for himself. He looked so sad. The next door we knocked the guy told us to *swear word* off. Good day, eh?
Another lady we have been teaching told us we can't come to her house anymore so I guess it looks like things are looking down.
This week is much more sunny Than last, so I think we will be able to make some serious changes in the work.
Love you guys. have a good week
